Client just submitted a $25,000 grant request on my behalf. I'll know on or before June 1st.

Deadline for grants was last week. Decisions will be made on or before June 1st. The grant is for $25,000 for me to create five Websites for the organization in 2010.

The response could be "yes," it could be "no," or they could decide to grant an amount less than $25K for a project of smaller scope.

I've been a business owner long enough to know that you count your money when you're in the bank, check in hand, holding a deposit slip. Until then, you keep on working as if any "up in the air" opportunities are EXACTLY there...up in the air, not in your hands.

Good vibes, prayers, whatever would be greatly appreciated. 2009...especially the last quarter...gave me a royal ass-kicking financially, and I am still rebounding and rebuilding from it.

The reason the person who wrote and submitted the grant did so is that she had seen a Website I'd built for the organization and was confident I could do these other projects. So I am hoping that she is a seasoned veteran when it comes to compellingly applying for grants.
