We had a choice tonight for our family of 6: either go to the movies or

ditch that in favor of something a little different. The vote was 5-1 in favor of 'different', so we went into Target and bought a little fire pit, some fire logs, supplies for s'mores and hod dogs.

We just had the most amazing 3 hours of family time in I don't know how long. All of us including the 3 dogs and 2 kitties had fun just hanging out in the lanai by the fire. Yay for different!

for one movie night, but given that we're stocked for another firepit night it'll definitely save us some money the 2nd time. Movies are sooo pricey, argh!
