I have to defriend a friend from face book
He spends all day playing "yo town", "farmtown" and every game you can imagine. He is spamming my wall because there are so many updates from his account. Will he know if I defried/ignore him? I can't stand this, I missing other updates because he floods my wall. Advice?

1. You can hide updates from all those and still keep him as a friend.

I hid all them as well and facebook has been a much more enjoyable experience because of it.

6. Just hover your cursor over the updates and you should see a "hide" button.
No problem. :)

4. That's what I have done.
Even did that to my wife, as I have no interest in the game stuff.

3. You can just "block application" and the game notices will will go away.
But if you want to unfriend him anyway, go ahead, he won't know until he tries to IM you or something down the road.

5. You can control that easily.
Just hide it. Takes 2 seconds.
