Some good vibes for my friends, please...

My friend lost his job about 6 months ago and the family is struggling financially and recently declared bankruptcy. My friend has ADD, and became addicted to Ritalin and is now in rehab -- he gets out in a week. My friend's wife has been working her full time job and taking care of their two kids and dealing with the financial bullshit...we babysat for her the other night and the stress she is under is unbelievable.

If anyone needs a break, this family does.

I realize that I'm not in the "cool club" in the Lounge, but I didn't realize that I was asking for so much.

I try to take the time to offer kind words or send good vibes whenever asked -- just seems like the decent thing to do...

I cannot imagine what they must be going through.

Lost my job nearly 6 months ago, too, but I don't have near the issues hanging over me they do.

All I can offer right now is good thoughts that they will get that well deserved break soon.

You're a caring friend...and I will keep your friends in my thoughts. I also know many who are in the same situation. It's very painful, as I work in the trenches with similar families. Long ago...I never thought we'd see these times.

Hopefully, when he gets out of rehab, there will be a new beginning....
Sad that MDs prescribe meds, and this had to happen.

Sweet of you to take the children...they suffer also.
I'll keep your friend in my thoughts...things do turn around...
A homeless family I work with just got housing....
Things need to get better...
And with friends like you...they will.
