I absolutely HATE Google

I found out this morning that I LOST my two blogs, one of which totaled more than 37,000 posts, millions of words, and who knows how much time I spent during the past seven years blogging, because of some TOS violation.

I seriously doubt it had anything to do with my content; I believe Google deleted or removed them because I had flagged numerous spam posts on GMAIL. Apparently Google decided to just ditch my account.

This is infuriating beyond belief.

I know now to use a different hosting service for blogging if I am going to use Gmail.

1. Wouldn't they still be 'cached' some place? Seems like a trace of them would still be

searchable somewhere.

3. I checked it and the posts still exist on the web through the cache

feature.

I simply can't post there anymore unless Google reverses what it did.

Gmail account passwords have been hacked via mobile phones from Eastern Europe. They grab all your email links in your Gmail account and bombard them with spam. Mine was. I had a low strength password and they guessed it. I spammed myself on my other email (non-Gmail) account. After checking my Gmail account someone accessed it while I was at work from Romania via mobile phone. My account was used to spam all the people on my email addresses.

If you account was used to spam a bunch of people, then Google MIGHT have closed your blogs for that reason.

Google has had a bunch of questions about this, so I am not alone.

I will just blog at WordPress and have Gmail separate.

7. Oh my God. I'd got ballistic over that.

If it's any consolation, I seriously doubt anyone at a big corporation like Google is going to spend time retaliating on a single customer. The flagging of spammage is going to be an automated process, rather than something individual techies look up. And computer programs rarely carry on a grudge. Just ask my friend.
