Trash being dumped in my yard weekly |
|
This is starting to really tick me off.
One morning a week I'm coming out on the way to work to find a pile of trash in my yard.
Size of said pile varies, sometimes just a little fast food trash, this morning it was a freaking trash bag plus a grocery bag - the trash bag wasn't full, but still...
It's happening once a week and no one else on the block seems to be having this problem, which is making me think my house is being targeted for some reason.
The trash is pretty innocuous, nothing to suggest the reason.
Am I paranoid to think I'm being targeted for some kind of harassment?

1. do you live on a corner? |
|
my mom lives on a corner and is always picking up dumped trash. Not bags, but certainly more litter than her neighbors.

3. no - right in the middle of the block |
|
our road is used frequently as a short-cut between two busier roads, so I have wondered if it's just the idiots using the road as a short-cut tossing crap out, but that wouldn't explain why it's only my yard.

if it looks like someone's being watched it often scares them.

6. not sure where I'd put it that they'd see it |
|
don't have a huge yard, but...not sure if it'd be noticeable from the street if it was on the front of the house

8. I have a largish corner lot. It's not uncommon for people to pull off for lunch |
|
near the corner and then drop their fast food bag on my property when leaving. And at night on weekends, it's not uncommon for teenagers (I think) to hang out near the corner and then discard their liquor bottles there. It's hard to stop this: you can't just camp out watching the common drop spots indefinitely

9. Check the bags, for bagged trash. |
|
If they're really stupid and use their home-trash to litter you, there will be identifiers in the bag. Junk mail et al.
If you get the same identifiers twicet, return to owner.
