Follow up on my high (7) PSA.
OK, nobody really gives a shit except me and my close friends and family.

But my PSA is now down to 3.7.
WooHoo!
:bounce::bounce::bounce:

The 7 was possibly a low grade prostrate inflammation.
Cleared up by a week long dose of an antibiotic.
Hell of a lot better than prostrate cancer.

The rest of my lab/blood work numbers were just FANTASTIC!
Triglycerides down to 45 from 200 a few years ago.
Cholesterol cool.
Glucose great.

Inflammation precursors for heart attack and stroke ZERO!
Get this: CO2 is 22 in a 'normal' range of 20 to 32.
And I SMOKE!
I may live forever.
They may have to shoot me to get rid of me.

Or I could have an aneurysm and kick off tomorrow.
Anyway, just wanted to share my good news.
Yeah, I'm braggin'.
Did I mention I'll be 69 in August?
:-)

2. Excellent news!
Just so you know, my Dad always had a high PSA value. They watched him carefully over the years but never found cancer. Damn I miss him.

4. Congrats, my dear trof!
That's wonderful news!

Did you know that smoking is a risk factor for aneurysms? It is.

Even at this age, stopping is a good thing!

I'm right behind you, agewise; I'll be 67 in November!

:woohoo:
