The yellow pear tomatoes are ripe!
I'll be having these with fresh basil, also from my garden, for supper tonight. :woohoo:

4. They were yummy!
So was the basil. The basil was a surprise. I didn't get the garden cleaned out last year until late and the basil and catnip went to seed. Now they've both sprouted up all over the yard!

3. I'm afraid to say it...
Arizona, in the Valley of the Dumb.

More of my garden photos -- I took these last week -- they are bougainvilla, lantana, lavender, and another variety of bougainvilla. And you should smell the jasmine!

5. Try and keep the tomatoes away from the fridge. It changes the taste of fresh tomatoes.

6. so jealous - mine are just starting to sprout and now:
THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
ARIZONA AND SOUTHEAST ARIZONA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM NOW CENTERED NEAR THE COLORADO RIVER
VALLEY WILL RESULT IN SCATTERED SHOWERS INTO THIS EVENING. AS A
DISTURBANCE ROTATES AROUND THIS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THROUGH
SOUTHERN ARIZONA OVERNIGHT...THESE SHOWERS WILL BECOME MORE
WIDESPREAD ESPECIALLY ACROSS PIMA...SANTA CRUZ AND COCHISE
COUNTIES. GIVEN THIS IS A VERY COLD SYSTEM ESPECIALLY FOR LATE
APRIL...AND THE FAVORABLE TIMING DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS INTO
THE MORNING HOURS SNOW LEVEL WILL DROP TO AS LOW AS 4500 FEET.
THIS COULD RESULT IN SNOWFALL UP TO A FEW INCHES IN COMMUNITIES
ABOVE 5000 FEET INCLUDING SONOITA AND BISBEE. MOUNTAIN SNOWFALL
WILL TOTAL 3 TO 6 INCHES THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.

9. By then mine will be toast...
it's too hot to grow them over the summer although some people can. My neighbor keeps his going through June using a lot of screening.
