Okay so I'm arguing with this chic I know about "universal health care" and this is what she says to me......
"with universal health care you have no choice of the expertise or qualifications of the medical professional taking care of you. They are all government employees, and get paid the same whether they give good care or crappy care...and everyone would have the same type of coverage alright, bad! you are ASSIGNED a physician, you do not CHOOSE a physician....like a lottery....."
I am dumb founded. I dont even know what to say to that :shrugs:
You know when you get so pissed that you run out of stuff to say...........ya, thats me right now!

1. The response to her is to ask her a question. |

Do you believe the amount of money you have should determine if you get good health care or bad health care.
She would have to say yes.
Then ask her if the amount of money a person has determines their worth.
She would have to say yes.
Then ask her what qualities define if a person makes lots of money or not.
If she says hard work and things like that, ask her if people making minimum wage working three jobs, work less hard then someone making millions, or even 150,000.
It points out what she thinks is most important, and how she measures a persons worth.
