1. I think I finally figured out how to buy stuff that matches: just use the alphabet
Black goes with Brown, Lime goes with Lavender, Plaid goes with Paisley, and so on

Seems to be working. Women look at me more than they used to

2. I pretty much end up...
.
...coming home with lederhosen, teddy bear slippers, and a propellor beanie.
.
I LOVE food shopping... can spend hours contemplating right there in the store
what I'd like to fix over the next coupla days... but I have ALWAYS hated going
shopping for clothes.
.
And it's obvious to anyone who looks at me.
.
MAN!!!! That guy HATES to shop for clothes!!!

3. I think I'd have to lose 30 kg to fit into my old lederhosen. Then it would
take another month or so until I developed enough callous on my upper legs not to feel chafed when wearing them.

7. I want to see a picture of the lederhosen/teddy bear slippers combination!
But I know exactly what you mean. I hate shopping for clothes. There isn't a whole lot out there I detest more. Thank God at my job it's strictly jeans, sneakers and sweaters/t-shirts. And when the mood strikes me, I can wear one of my son's old beat-up t-shirts. I'm 5'4", he's 6'6", so they're somewhat loose-fitting. And what's really odd, when I show up in one of those unspeakable outfits, I often get compliments along the lines of "You look so cuuuute in that!". Or is that people's way of saying I need to be removed from polite society, and they are only humoring me and my bad taste?

4. My husband hates it, too. He'll wear clothes until they're practically coming
apart at the seams just because he doesn't want to go shopping. And before he goes on a business trip he tries to mix and match his wardrobe so he doesn't have to pack as much. After I saw what he flew home in a couple of years ago (just thinking about it hurts my eyes) I no longer let him do the mixing and matching by himself.

11. My husband is very happy he has me to pick out his clothes.
I don't think he's shopped for himself in all the 23 years we've been married.

He's says "ugly happens" when men dress themselves.

13. I could spend hours in a record or book store
But I really hate shopping for clothes. That's why I usually just trow a couple items in the cart at Costco. They don't have a big selection and they're cheap.
