Thank you asshole driver of that Grand Marquis who made me 20 minutes late for work.
How you got a driver's license is beyond me because you are too stupid for words!

First, asshole driver, you do know that if you are parked along the street - you do NOT have the right-of-way to pull out in front of a car that is driving on that street. Thanks to your ignorance of my vehicle and the fact that I honked my horn since clearly the use of rearview/side mirrors means nothing to you - you pulled out in front of me. You cut me off and had I not swirved out of the way you would have taken off part of my passenger side door. And thanks you I missed the green light that starts the world's worse 3 redlights. Missing that light means I'll have to wait 3 minutes until it turns green only to be stuck behind the next light that takes 5 minutes to turn green and a 3rd light that takes forever. Had you wait your turn I would have saved myself about 5 minutes AND made the early shuttle with a few minutes to spare.

Not sure why you were in such a hurry to cut me off and pull out in front of me but when the light did turn green you sat at there on your ass trying to make a left-hand turn....on a street that is right turn only. Where the hell did you get your drivers license? I should have called your plate in because either you were drunk off your ass or too stupid to own one.

I'm guessing from your temp license plate you just bought that Grand Marquis. And the way you drive that'll be a beat-up junker in about a month. You are too dangerous to be behind a wheel of a car. You don't deserve to drive a nice car like that.

7. Yeah, that was helpful.
:eyes:

Can't be that dipshit doesn't know how to drive (like millions of other Americans, many of whom live here). It must be because Lynn was late.

... posting a nice cathartic rant on the DU Lounge and having a smug finger-wagger show up to helpfully explain to you how it's ALL YOUR fault/YOU need to chill out/YOU are the problem/etc. But I know you were just kidding; it sucks when it actually does happen elsewhere.

Lynne is right, people who refuse to drive with consideration for others are pricks and deserve to have their licenses yanked. I live in MA and see these selfish turds on the roads every day. I feel your pain, Lynne!!

5. You won't believe this
I arrived to work 20 minutes early! It was amazing, here let me tell you...

I had just jumped into my brand spankin' new Grand Marquis and was about to check my rear-view mirror to see if it was safe to pull into traffic, but I looked up and OMG! I noticed that the light up ahead had just turned green, and having driving this street every day for the past decade, trust me, I *know* the timing of the lights, and I knew that if I could make this green light, then the next 3 lights would also be green for me! In the past 10 years, I can say this has only happened for me ONCE! And so, imagine how excited I was to see the light changing at exactly the moment I was there--except I HAD to pull out right that instant, not one second later, or else I'd miss the next 3 lights, so without even looking into the side view mirror, I just jammed it and rode the green stream all the way! It was one of the best days of my life!

I hope I didn't cut anyone off, though. That would suck.

11. So why did you stop at the first light and attempt to make a left turn on a right only street?
Think about it!

SLAM!!!

6. I have only a few issues with other drivers
The biggest are those who cling for miles on an ending lane or lanes on a multi-lane highway that has posted many warning signs of the road narrowing due to a detour or road construction. Then they act surprised or angry when no one will let them merge when they reach the barricades and then flick on their turn signals, while trying to force their way into snarled, backed up traffic.

8. Around here, there's no notice of ending lanes until one is already...
...blocked by what you describe. I mean the roads, not the major highways. I think the notices were posted when there was about a third as much traffic as there is now. Then I have the opposite problem: assholes who won't let me in despite a clear signal to merge.
