4. The guy's an amazing chef, and a decent person.

I used to think he was a douchebag until I saw some interviews with him, and watched him on Iron Chef a few times to see how truly does have the cooking chops. He may not be the most creative chef, and seems to like his pepper sauces too much, but he is good.

Totally changed my view of him.

7. I thought badly of him after his first 'Iron Chef' (original) appearance

in which he jumped onto the countertop. Morimoto was not amused. But apparently Morimoto forgave him, and I must admit I find some of his food visually appealing (never had the chance to eat or even smell any of it, so I suppose it could be vomitrocious, but it looks good). Of course, he's still a soulless ginger, so he's not *entirely* OK...
