I swear, if the full moon doesn't stop making people batshit insane, I'm going to snap.

You hear me you smug bastard? I don't need to deal with 8 straight hours of wave after wave of insane Boulder people coming at me with their little personality tics and their crazy neuroses and their ridiculous transactions when I'm at my job. Why can't you have these people stay in for a day, or go out an enjoy the nice weather? Do these insane people really need to come in and bother me when I'm working?

The answer, of course, is that they do not.

If you try and pull this crap on me again, so help me, I will fly up there myself and knock the moonbeams out of your smarmy glowing ass. Capiche?

1. The moon is just a fall guy.
In truth, significant others drive you crazy.

2. If I had a significant other, I might agree with you. But, since I don't, the Moon gets the blame.
I'm gonna smack that punk.

3. Whenever the full moon appears...
I always turn into a werewolf. So if I get crabby, that's why.

:silly:

4. You're in Boulder
isn't that the norm?

We did have my sister in law convinced that the Flatirons were man made for a whole week. Damn bookstore owner telling her the truth ruined it.

5. Down the Jersey Shore...
.
...probably somewhere near Cape May, and we're driving along this deserted
road and I can see what looks like a REALLY weird structure-like place that
stretches over an area about 2-blocks-by-3-blocks well off in the distance.
.
It looks like some rusting old robotic dinosaur of some kind -- ridiculously larger
than any dinosaur that ever lived.
.
When I asked my friend what the hell it was, she told me that it was the lifetime
work of a local mad artist -- that it was this monumental sculpture that he had
been working on for 35 years or more.
.
I was in TOTAL AWE!!!!
.
It kinda looked like crap, but the idea that this guy had this VISION -- that he
had poured so much intensity and heat and desire and focus and time and all
that he had and all that he was into this... creation, had me almost fully
overwhelmed by its magnitude.
.
.
.
My friend let me remain in this oddly transcendental state for about an hour
before she revealed that NAH, it was just the ruined, rusted old rotting steel
hulk of what had been a HUMONGOUS cannery of some kind.
.
Far from being disappointed or upset, I am to this day STILL inspired... STILL in
awe of that CONCEPT of intensity -- knowing full well that there ARE people in this
world, perhaps mad hyperactive geniuses, perhaps quietly totally-focused unsung
heroes... who are doing just that in their daily lives for the entirety of their existence.
.
Still in awe of that.
.
