What songs remind you of Spring?
And no, you cannot use Vivaldi in your answer. I will smack you if you do. :P

I'm just wondering what songs bring up feelings/visions/emotions of Spring for you.

2. Vaughan Williams, The Lark Ascending
Edited on Thu Apr-29-10 01:50 PM by sarge43
May, the light of a full moon on the lilacs, the yeasty scent of damp earth, the fireflies dancing in the web of delicate ground mist on the meadow, the sleepy goodnight chirp of a robin.

Nothing is eternal,
Only the eternal Spring.

17. There was a nice video with a sunrise over the Canyon
But the people who made it put in 'comments' and boxes which messed it up. Plus the sound quality was not as good. Too bad - it was a great video of the sunrise before they screwed around with it.

I've always loved the Grand Canyon Suite - On the Trail is my second favorite part.

18. The Grand Canyon Suite was one of my first introductions to
symphonic music. I like the final movement - the thunderstorm across the desert.

20. It's a good introduction
I don't remember what the first symphonic music I ever hear. With grandmother who was a concert pianist and an older sister who was a gifted musician, we always had music in the house.
