Olbermann is still bitter about the 2001 World Series
He's still going on about boycotting the Dbacks and his reason now is that they don't have any prominent Hispanics on the team. No one who is All-Star caliber.

Yeah, well they don't have ANY Asians at all on the team but he didn't mention that. Hey KO! You don't get to pick and chose. If you want to imply the Dbacks are racist then you should mention ALL the races that don't play on the team.

There ARE Hispanics on the Dbacks. If they don't meet your standards of greatness KO, tough shit!

If someone wants to boycott the Dbacks because the owners contribute to Republicans... fair enough. But you may also want to check on the ownership of most teams. These teams are owned by very wealthy men and I bet most if not all give to the Republicans.

1. That reminds me of the sign I saw in the broadcast from Phoenix.
It takes more than nine Yanks to beat a Johnson.

3. Olbermann keeps getting weirder. He's turning into the liberal Bill O'Reilly.
Putting him on next to Maddow is not flattering. She keeps hitting homeruns, substantive homeruns, and he keeps chasing after cheap shots. He strikes me as being just a little too full of himself and little too short on substance.

4. I wonder if he's getting desperate to keep viewers.
I've heard his ratings are in the dumps. I never thought I get tired of his show but I'm fast approaching that.

Maddow's show is outstanding.

7. Thats pretty accurate
I have a relative thats a political media specialist and he has told me that Olbermann is not the best when it comes to fact checking apparantly.

12. I think Olbermann's still affected by the death of his dad
His bitterness is a sign of grief. Either that, or he may be sinking into a depression, for which he could use some help.

5. Another reason to like KO
Everyone always accuses the Yankees of "buying championships". The D-bags, a franchise rich in storied baseball tradition dating back to about last Tuesday :eyes: , rented theirs; most of the players were gone by the very ext season.

13. Dbags.... how original!
:eyes: Still bitter?
The Dbacks were a new team at the time. Pray tell, where were their players supposed to come from?

See for yourself. I see a lot of the same names. Sure there a few changes but then most teams have some changes every year.

11. And my man, Mookie, standing in the coach's box....
Piazza actually spent a summer working for my uncle - my uncle worked for Vince Piazza who gave Mike to my uncle for the summer so he could experience a real job - and said Mike was very nice.
