And yes, it's more awesome than the first one. :woohoo:

1. I'm handicapping Iron Man for the win. |
|
Please tell me I'm in the right. Just seems like it might be a bit obvious.
I do like the trailer and RD,Jr has been VERY entertaining on the talk circuit promoting it. I hope he makes a mint.

2. Downey chews the scenery with the gusto of 100 William Shatners. |

and having watched his problems unfold, I'm so happy to see him have so much success. He has obviously matured a great deal and taken control of his life. At least it seems to me.

I really wanted to like him as an actor for a long time, but I got tired of his endless "one last chances," so I more or less wrote him off. I mean, when you can't even keep it together for a cushy gig like Ally McBeal's boyfriend, you're obviously a trainwreck.
And two of my friends met him at a bar in the mid-90s and said that he was the biggest asshole they'd ever encountered.
But you're right--he truly does seem to have matured as an actor, and I'm glad to see that he's gotten his life together. IMO he's just about the perfect choice to play the damaged and flawed Tony Stark.

That's a great line. I thought Iron Man was as perfect a super hero movie as you could hope for. I'm glad to hear good things about 2.

I think I'll have to wait until it comes to TNT. Then I'll probably Tivo it so I can FF past most of it.

I thought you said you were going to put me on ignore. So much for that, eh? Ya gotta love DUers who make a big production out of putting someone on ignore (as if anyone gives two shits in the first place), then they selectively take them off ignore so they can throw their snarks in. Jebus, how childish can you get?

I gotta say, even without knowing what you put in Chode's mailbox (the cyber equivalent of a doggie dookie?) I'm damn proud of you.

Unless of course this is the Iron Man Competition that you are referring to!
