Nowadays lots of clothes are made with some spandex, say 96% cotton, 4% spandex.

Anybody notice if the spandex makes the clothes appreciably hotter than just cotton without spandex?

1. I remember spandex from the 1980s.
Perhaps these are indeed the end days? Doesn't spandex appear in the Book of Revelations?

2. No, it's not enough to make the clothes hotter
if that's your concern. It does however, make the clothes lay better on the body, this body anyway. And they don't feel bunched up when I have to sit or kneel.

I like a little bit of spandex in the cotton. It's not noticeable unless you read the label.

3. I think it makes them hotter.
And too tight! I only buy 100% cotton tops. I do like the stretch in jeans, though.
