Yesterday a woman told me that I was, seriously, the man of her dreams.
Consider. I am currently unshaven for a week, have male pattern balding, am at least 80 pounds overweight, am past middle age, am homeless in a "sober living" on the government dole with no car, no money, disabled from competetive work and am also dual diagnosis (addiction plus bipolarity).

Of what exactly do her dreams consist?:hi:

1. Maybe she's having a nightmare?
Just kidding.

Remember that when you're down, you've
got no where to go but up!

She sees your potential!

2. Thank her, and be happy!
Women are all different, and this particular one saw something special in you. The fact that you aren't Brad Pitt's long lost twin only makes it more likely that she saw something special about the "real you" and not just something superficial that she liked.

Lucky guy!

7. LOL, yea, but love is in the heart.
So good luck.

I could say I understand your situation, but I am not balding. :)

Good luck with everything. :)

8. Thank you for the positive/supportive replies, but...
...I forgot to add that this is the first time I'd ever seen her, ever...and she went there from zero...I've been celibate for about five years (had a six-year stretch before that), have zero intention of changing that, and haven't dated with anything approaching seriousness since 1987...and I'm also highly unpopular for my spiritual website and activities...she must not have seen it yet...

http://2012basics.blogspot.com/2010/02/point-by-point-on-my-earlier.html

Quite honestly, avoiding me completely is a no-brainer. You'd think. I've tried to make it clear for years in behaviour and appearance, but evidently not well enough...when anyone approaches me like this, I feel sorry for them. I'm okay with me, but you could do better...pretty much anywhere! Just reach out with your eyes shut and close your grasp. If there's a man there, you're already doing much better!

This also occured in an "Anonymous" meeting...I obviously don't care about anonymity, myself...and the rule about dating within these circles is, "The odds are good, the goods are odd."

NO, seriously, I'm not looking!

:rofl::hi:

11. I'd never heard the term "waking nightmare" until
a woman explained it to me (using me as the example).

12. Did she put on the lotion on its' skin?
Or did she get the hose again?

Given the proper circumstances and motivation, some people will say anything.

If so, who cares what's in her dreams, especially if it's you. :)
