This story was in the local newspaper today and I thought it was kind of funny.
Apparently a man going through the McDonald's drive through at 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning was asked to pull ahead several times by the employees and he did not initially respond to their request. When he finally did move, he put the car in reverse instead of drive, and rammed right into you probably guessed it, a county Sheriff's car.
The Sheriff's allege said gentleman was inebriated.

1. This is the kind of shit you just can't make up |
|
I work in a semi-criminal justice environment, and I hear the most messed up stories of just how stupid people are and the stupid things they do.

4. But if it's a drive thru at a fast food restaurant... |
|
why should anyone have to "pull forward"?

5. A friend of mine in high school was taking his driver's test |
|
which ended with parallel parking. At the end, the State Trooper conducting the test got out of the car and stood between it and the car in front while writing his notes. My friend had forgotten to put the car in park. His foot slipped off the brake and he crushed the trooper's leg between the two cars. He failed the test on that occasion. Sigh--good times! (Except for the trooper, who should have known better.)
