Well, I was ready to settle in with my Friday night dinner of Armour's Potted Meat Food Product.
And then I read the ingredients:

Mechanically Separated Chicken, Beef Tripe, Partially Defatted Cooked Beef Fatty Tissue, Beef Hearts, Water, Partially Defatted Cooked Pork Fatty Tissue, Salt. Less than 2 percent: Mustard, Natural Flavorings, Dried Garlic, Dextrose, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite

So now I'm so excited, I think I'm just going to have this every single night of the week.

If my heart explodes out of my chest and makes a terrible mess, then I'll know I was wrong.

Remember, if it doesn't kill you on the same day you eat it, then it's health food.

3. No kidding. The word 'partially' is of particular concern here.
I actually saw this label back in the 80's while on a long backpacking trip, and it was so freakish that I made mention of it in my journals. Just to remember how bizarre it was.

Hopefully, you see the jokiness at hand.

I'm a freak, but not this kind of freak.

2. I read the label on a can of off-brand Vienna sausages one time.
They actually listed beef lips as an ingredient.

4. Ignorance of the contents of canned "meat" is the ONLY excuse...
...to actually eat it.

Once you know though...

7. Hey, that's right!
Went way out of their way to explain themselves, huh?

Not like there's anything to hide.

I mean it's all there on the label.

Right?

Why would you think there's something to hide?

9. This character's cigarette...
.
...used to have an ash that was sometimes 2-3 inches long.
.
Learned long ago how to do that -- stick a straight pin
down the center of the tube from the tobacco end -- it'll
hold the ash in place LONG after it would've normally dropped.
.
Fantastic character -- one of my favorites of his, definitely.
.
Very sweaty.

15. You win.
That is the scariest food product ever! Twelve days of cholesterol in a single serving; they ought to put a warning on that one.

12. Ugh!!!! Imagine the marketing team trying to sell that one:
Marketing geek #1: "Now made with even MORE partially defatted cooked beef fatty tissue, sodium erythorbate, and hydrogenated giraffe testicles - just like mom would make!".

Marketing geek #2: (vomits)
