some yellow flowers from today
one of my favorites, woolly marigold

little yellow composite (I know it but can't remember right now, too lazy to look it up)

twinberry (paper flower/desert zinnia in upper left)

santa rita prickly pear (I think - pads turn purple in the fall))

yellow composite (some kind of chicory?)

the creosote is blooming like crazy

close-up, this came out nice

I have never seen any of those flowers before. Love the cactus flower!

5. Thanks for the pics, Kali!
Desert flowers are like the "little engine that could!" Extreme temps and little water and they're still some of the brightest blooms I've ever seen!

:hi:
