my supposed "best friend" asked me if i wanted him to teach me how to pee standing up
that really hurt my feelings.

i got called "sissy" a lot when i was kid by the males in my family for being bookish and not really being good at sports or fighting.

it really brought those same feelings of shame back full force.

2. Now is the time to find out just how much of a friend he is
Tell him he insulted you. You have no reason to feel shame and you shouldn't let those feelings rule your life.

3. Sorry he got to you.
Among my male friends, the rejoinder to such an insult would be a hearty, "fuck you" followed by the filthiest epithet that comes to mind.

5. Perhaps he was offering to hold it for you?
Either way, that was totally uncool and uncalled for. Sadly many of our friends think that we should just laugh stuff like that off.

7. What an insensitive asshole!
If he was REALLY your best friend, he would have offered to teach you how to piss up a rope!

8. Pee on his feet.
From whatever position best suits you (standing, sitting, hanging from a chandelier).

9. Sounds out of context to me.
I'd really be interested in hearing what was being discussed before he let loose with that comment. Sounds like something I might say to a friend if I thought he was allowing someone else to run all over him or something. Kinda like telling him he needed to grow a pair.

Do you think it could've been anything like that?
