Amazing Race Finally Right Fucking Now (west coast).... Favorite Team???

I'm rooting for the cowboys, they've been the most calm headed, least angry, and probably most respectful of other cultures.

It's just a one hour episode this season.

No spoilers please, I know it's probably aired in other time zones!

1. Of the last 3 teams,

I wanted the cowboys to win. Sadly it was the Bro Brothers. Ms. Model was last. At the end, Phil tried to get Carol and Brandy and Ms. Model and her male half to make nice together and apologize for the U-turn and to accept the apology and sing Kumbyya together or something. But as Ms. Model turned to open her mouth with some sort of platitude, Brandy (? dark haired half of Carol and Brandy) told her that she had no use for anything Ms. Model might say and basically reamed her a new one. I loved it. I really hated how Ms. Model kept sneering at the Lesbians. But that's just me. I know that apparently many people are upset that Carol and Brandy wouldn't make nicey-nicey with the pretty, blond model but I'm not one of them. Also according to some things I've read, the cowboys are 'the most beloved team in Amazing Race history'. They were ok, but I still liked the Hippies from a few seasons back - I loved that the race got to Japan and the one hippy could speak Japanese from having lived there and so they just blew away the competition. There was some grumbling that it wasn't fair an American could speak another language as I recall. Anyway, that's my 2 cents - I'm sure that your mileage will vary and that's just the way it should be.

2. I had Joe and Heidi in my pool

So I was free to root for anyone in the finale. I liked the Cowboys because they never seemed to get down on themselves or anyone else. Dan and Jordan made the last, best move, getting up to First Class on the plane to San Francisco, which gave them enough of an edge to win. Brent and Caite overachieved, in my opinion. They finally made enough fatal mistakes to take themselves out early in the finale.

The reunion at Candlestick was too bad. Carol and Brandy should have been better sports: After all, their opinion of Brent and Caite before the race started was that they were young and dumb. During the race, they thought the models were young and dumb. And after the race, they thought the models were young and dumb. Carol couldn't seem to get over the fact that the models basically out-foxed them with the U-Turn. How do you avoid that? Beat 'em to the spot. Don't antagonize people. Lots of different ways. Carol's little tirade started off okay, but she went on too long, and turned it into a real personal attack. For all Caite's faults, she handled it better than I would have, and made Carol look petty.

3. I was sorry the Cowboys didn't win. They seemed to really enjoy

the experience and, of the three final teams, were the ones who had subjected viewers to the fewest meltdowns, crying jags, rudeness toward cabbies, etc. I hope if there's another all star edition, they'll be on it.

4. Plus the one Cowboy looked remarkably like Sean Penn

and the model guy looked like Cowboy Dan from Toy Story

the lesbians were just horrifically rude. They made complete asses of themselves right up to the end. She beat you. She beat YOU! specifically.

5. But the karma, the karma! The cabbie karma!

It killed those two doofus goofballs, the ones who complained about their cab drivers in every country because they couldn't speak English, it was just outstanding that they actually lost the race when, in America, their cab driver got lost!
