I have an interesting "interview" coming up next week
In Coeur d'Alene, ID, there is a very upscale, small, enclosed mall down on Sherman Avenue called "Shops at Coeur d'Alene Resort." Three women are opening a cosmetics and skincare boutique in there. (It is right in the middle of the mall--the most prominent space in the whole place. I cannot imagine what they're paying to be in there.) I applied, and I had my first interview yesterday. Apparently the owner liked what she heard, so next week I will be returning to do my second interview.

The second interview is a performance one: I have to do makeup on all three of them. If they like how I do it, I'll be brought on board. It will be fun.

3. Why I'm not worried...
I've seen who I'm going to work on. Most of the people I make over want something "fixed"--she'll say her nose is too fat or long, her lips are too full, her eyes are too wide-set, whatever. These ladies are absolutely perfect, and beautiful. It is going to be SO easy to work on them. I kinda wish one of them needed a little corrective work for two reasons: I'm really good at it, and they're selling Dermablend which is specifically for correction. But you do what you gotta...

Oh, and I'm not new...I'm the guy who asked if he should make a mucrowaveable line of Midwest-favorite meals called "Cleveland Steamers--the best crap there is!"
