6. Why?
It was still formed by glaciers so it should still be an appropriate name, no? :hi:

3. Here's a blog post by a Montana native,
He writes much better than I.

http://predatorhaven.blogspot.com/2010/05/glacier-park-centennial.html

On this day in 1910, Glacier became the eighth member of the
National Park System. The movement to set aside areas of
wilderness and natural beauty is well-documented in Ken Burns'
series The National Parks: America's Best Idea. It was a bold venture,
initiated by President Ulysses S. Grant when he proposed Yellowstone,
the nation's first national park. The concept started a global trend.
Currently there are 58 U.S. National Parks, along with numerous
national military parks, historic parks, lakeshores, monuments,
recreation areas, wild and scenic rivers, and nature preserves.

5. It's my favorite Nat'l park
The finger lakes are incredible. The park is also not usually all that crowded, so there's plenty of places you can go to get away from everyone.

7. That place will cease to exist in 20 years.
:(

It's a shame the glaciers are melting at an alarming rate. And they say global warming isn't happening. :eyes:
