So I woke up this morning without a clock radio
And I haven't used one for at least a few years now.

I use my cell phone alarm instead.

Clock radios are as outmoded as travel alarms.

1. I use a clock radio.
I set it to a loud, annoying pop/dance station. Wakes me in an instant.

But then, I won't have a cellphone. Forty bucks a month in return for no privacy; I'll pass on that!

I like waking up to news radio first thing. Oh and this is funny coming from a guy who HAS to have a keyboard on his phone...

3. My clock radio forces me to get out of bed to turn it off.
When I used my cellphone as an alarm, I could just fumble around without physically having to get up. It sort of defeated the purpose.

Of course, if I did use my cell phone as an alarm, this would be my ringtone:
