Would you do this for your parents? |

I have a record player that can record to .mp3, and then I can burn CD's from those.
I'm recording a lot of records for my parents, mostly polkas and Lawrence Welk.
Would you do this for your parents?

I wouldn't be surprised if some Depeche Mode popped up in between polkas, though.

Jeez, people, your mom endured labor, so I think you can put up with a Lawrence Welk record!
Moldy Personal Reminsence: I met Lawrence Welk when I was 13. We were on vacation in California, and we took my grandmother to Welk's restaurant near San Diego.

8. Yes, definitely, but while wearing earplugs. |

Fortunately my parents were never polka/Welk fans. My dad likes Stravinsky.

my son puts all my songs on my IPod for me. He makes me laugh, with his facial expression and funny comments. He named the folder with my music...Da Mama's IPod. :-)

I'm the electronic music wiz in our family, while my Mom can barely get a CD working. :-)

13. Just be careful that you don't accidentally drop a 2 Live Crew |
|
song into the middle of the MP3 mix. That could be bad, really bad. (or fucking hilarious, depending on your parents)

15. My parents are both dead, but I did all KINDS of shit for them while they were alive |
|
So I guess the answer is "yes," and pretty much anything else they wanted or I thought would bring them joy.
The sacrificed and busted their ass to raise me to the best of their ability.
Why would I not want to repay that a hundredfold?
