A thought about Mel Gibson movies.
Edited on Fri May-14-10 08:44 PM by RandomThoughts
You know he made alot of movies, and many were good. And I know alot of people don't like him at DU.

But I will tell you this, many movies are death based even to the point of talking about suicide. There are lots of movies people don't realize have death themes, and even that terrible thing in many movies.

I watched Lethal Weapon, and over the coarse of hardship years ago, more then one time, I thought about the great scene. Find something to go on one more day, any reason, because when in hardship there is still great things if you look for them.

So some people give Mel Gibson a hard time here, I do not, either to the writer or his acting in that film, I think that idea of not giving in to despair is a very good part of that story. And in some way thank him and that movie for being around.

Life is really good, and better then most think.

Of coarse the movie has many good things in it, but it also has some bad so has to be seen as metaphor. Not violence or people being hurt or dying, that is metaphor. I repeat it is not about fear or people being hurt, but about the ideas of protection and better ways.

And don't go to the store, oil must be inside ones lantern.

Found who is making the switches.
Got name and sector, move on it, scan on lead. set point. ( Just a bit of a funny there to lighten it up :D )

And again I think guns are not for violence, I like the metaphors. And note it was not big bird.

No fear, no death. To Life!!!!!!
