mods, if you move this then fine

Thanks for an exciting series...I was certain the Flyers were done after the first period ( I thought choked )

But Bruins fans ought to be damned proud of their team...that was one hell of a nail-biter towards the end; I was certain they would tie it up

2. But to come back 0-3 was something even the most die-hard Flyers fan
would never have expected...honestly, if you believe in angels and all that

Needless to say, downtown is drunken nuts right now

4. Well,I'll be in the Flyer's corner vs the Habs.
Two incredible stories of teams making it to the quarter finals.

10. So does that mean their name translates as "inhabitants of Canada"? Fearsome!
:)

I'm really torn now - I owe Philly for avenging the Sabres, but Montreal has been inspiring. I'd actually be happy with any of the possible matchups in the finals...

5. I didn't think it possible...and although I'm not a big sports fan whenever

a Philadelphia team makes it this far this city goes nuts...

you know that, right? :D but holy shit, I really did think it was over after the first period

Two goals in the first, what....three-four minutes of the first quarter? That is ALMOST unheard of

Your team gave a city the sweats my friend. I confess I don't know who we play next? Can you tell I know shit about sports?

edited to add: yes, Hockey does kick ass...more exciting moments wrapped up into three quarters of play compared to...I don't know, an otherwise boring football game?

Oh, and the fights....let's not forget the fights!!

further edited to add: I get the Montreal statement now...and forgive me, because I'm a bit drunk at the moment

12. Flyers are the 4th team to win series after being down 0-3...only
the 4th pro hockey team in history.

Great series, I am sure Philly is madness on this Friday night.

On to Canada!

16. Unbelieveable series.
Apropos of nothing, does anyone remember Terry O'Reilly? Huge brawler, brutal on the ice; when my brother was dying of cancer, Terry took off huge amounts of time from work to drive him to appointments and to comfort his family.
