I got a gift certificate to a book store for my birthday. Can you suggest any current |

books that i might like? I like novels and non-fiction. Don't like sci-fi.
What have you read lately which was amazing?

1. It would help if you told us what you do like. |
|
I happen to love Sci Fi so I don't relate.

3. The Art of Racing in The Rain |
|
By Garth Stein
I have the book, but haven't started it yet. Told from a dog's eyes. It was passed down the line to me from a couple people who loved it. I'm anxious to start reading it if I could get my ass off the computer at night.

4. If you're into science for the mathematically challenged, |
|
recommend any of The Rough Guide To series. Right now I'm reading the one on Evolution by Mark Pallen. Excellent, starts with Darwin's life through the cultural impact of evolution theory, very thorough. Others: Earth, Genes, Weather, Brain, Universe.
