That first picture is my favorite -- it sums up
the anticipation/dread that most of us feel when
we're about to go "onstage" in any way.

She has butterflies on the inside and she IS a
butterfly on the outside.

NEVER got over my butterflies. Before EVERY gig,
I used to hope-hope-hope that the power would
go out so we didn't have to get up on that stage.

Thirty seconds after the start of the first song,
I wanted to go and go and go until I DROPPED.

Her mom took that one. She was backstage helping out with costumes and I was in the balcony shooting video. If she had butterflies I I couldn't tell when she hit the stage, she was great out in front of the crowd.
