2. My choice polls are rarely easy...
However, I always leave it to you to provide your own justifications for those choices.

4. I had to go with Sir Paul there MrScorpio
But only because I'm more familiar with his work.

5. Stevie Stevie Stevie Stevie all the way

It would be hard for me to explain as I don't think I have the musical vocabulary necessary, but Stevie's music appeals to me more. Not taking anything away from Paul, who has some great music / lyrics. But Reggae Woman; You Haven't Done Nothin'; Signed, Sealed, Delivered; Superstition -- god I love that music.

7. It's Paul for me, though I like Stevie too. but LOVE Paul
He manages to put a smile on my face, and forget reality, even if it's for a while.

12. Tough call, mostly because Paul can't be seen without the other Beatles.
If we're talking about solo Paul vs. Stevie, then it would be a better comparison.

16. Well, Stevie's early 70's stuff beat the Hell out of Wings, no doubt.
But "I Just Called To Say I Love You" is just as bad as any of Paul's cheesy hits.

Two amazing talents - both with their musical ups and downs

17. McCartney no doubt...
Stevie Wonder is a legend no doubt...but McCartney is the most successful of all time, and is still churning out great stuff...

The Firemen albums were really excellent...
