How are you all?

Sorry that I haven't posted in a long time. But I have a good explanation. At least for the last two weeks. I was on vacation in the Iran with my mom, her partner and my brother (pictures will follow). Before that I was just very very busy at work. I hope I can pick up my good morning threads again, maybe not daily but more frequently again than in the last weeks.

Good to see you! I was wondering what happened to you just the other day.

I've all but given up on my quest to find a mate. There's a woman down in Cincinnati I've been talking to, but she doesn't seem as interested in me as I am in her.

I've decided to move and I have my condo up for sale. I was sort of in a dilemma there for a bit. The woman I was talking about lives 50 miles to the south of me, but my employer is 30 miles to the north in Troy, Ohio. I have decided to move up north to Troy since she doesn't appear all that enthusiastic about getting to know me.

I'll be moving away from my family and the friends I have around here, but I think it's actually something that I need to do. My family is somewhat dysfunctional and I think it would be healthy for me to put some distance between me and them.

I'm heading out for vacation on Friday. Going to Cozumel scuba diving.

It was a busy time before my vacation. But now it is a bit more quiet .... and I can spend some more time here again.

Honestly, no reason to be worried. The people are friendly and welcome foreigners into their country (just ignore the government). The people are happy to show foreigners their beautiful country and its history.

Hell,I was sort of scared in both Prague and Mexico,so I'm just a wimp. ;)
I felt safe and at home in Berlin though.
I bet the food is wonderful in Iran. :)

On a sad note, two losses last week. A long-time rennie suddenly died of a heart attack and my tailor's husband (she tailored my velvet trousers and added jewels to my vest, all great work) died after a long-running battle with cancer. It's been a sad weekend. :(

But I also got good news today. Another former co-worker gave birth to a healthy little boy last week.

Iran? I think I'd be a little worried about traveling there. But that's just me. I thought just driving on the Autobahn was a bit nerve-wracking.

Nothing to worry about while traveling the Iran. The people are happy to see foreigners. Just accept their religion and stay away from big groups. We didn't have any problems at all.

Now driving in the cities of Iran is even more nerve-wracking than driving the Autobahn. It is crazy. I am glad we had a driver. And he was a very good driver.
