Women sues phone company for revealing affair.
Hmmmm.

A Toronto woman is suing telecom giant Rogers Communications for $600,000, alleging the company's billing practices revealed her infidelity, leading her husband to leave her.

The Toronto Star reports Gabriella Nagy filed a statement of claim alleging an invasion of privacy and breach of contract on Roger's part in an Ontario court.

1. Hope she wins.
Maybe then her husband can sue her for $600,000 for the devastation she caused him.

2. She may have a point.
The bill was originally in her maiden name, which is obviously not the same name as her husband's last name. When he later signed up for services under his name, the phone company unilaterally merged the two bills together, without her knowledge or consent. This negated her own account and folded it into her husband's. They should not have done that.

3. I think she does too, although not a $600,000 point
It seems to me that the telecomm regulators need to take a look at this company's billing and privacy practices...
