The rest of the album is god-awful horrible.

It's MUCH worse than "Never Say Die" (which I think is an undiscovered genius - Sabbath doing free form Jazz? It's here! And it works!), their last album

But Back Street Kids is an amazing song!

3. Really. Because I agree with the original post: I listen to every other Black Sabbath
album I own several times a year (or even more often in the case of the debut), but almost never choose Technical Ecstasy. I've always regarded it as the worst Sabbath-with-Ozzy album, personally. In my opinion, I'd rank them thus:

1. Black Sabbath
2. Master of Reality
3. Paranoid
4. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
5. Vol. 4
6. Sabotage
7. Technical Ecstasy

...though I freely admit there are fine reasons for shuffling this list about. Some guys I've known think Master of Reality is vastly overrated, but only NIB keeps it second on my list. Sabotage is the one I don't own; I've been meaning to pick it up someday. I've had the rest for many years.

It's Alright - Black Sabbath

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk66CpMZti8

Told you once about your friends and neighbors
They were always seeking but they'll never find it
It's alright, yes, it's alright
Where to go and where to see
it's always been that way
And it can never be
It's alright, yes, it's alright
Give it all and ask for no return
And very soon you'll see and you'll begin to learn
That it's alright, yes, it's alright
Oooooh....
It's alright, yes, it's alright
Don't you know that it's so good for you
You can be making love and see it all goes through
But it's alright, yes, it's alright
So I told you once about your friends and neighbors
They were always seeking but they'll never find it
It's alright, yes, it's alright
Oooooh....
Alright alright alright alright

5. I wouldn't call it a horrible album, but it's their least interesting album.
I still like it - I think it's a fine album, though not stellar like their other stuff.

And I totally agree on Never Say Die - that album is fucking amazing! I love it!
