If you HAD to hook up ( have sex ) with a has been 80's rocker.......
who do you pick and why?

Me.....somebody from Poison, because I remember at age 8 I saw my brother's poison tape and I couldn't tell if they were men or women, they were so beautiful, but I had no idea and was scared to ask, lest I thought the "wrong sex" was beautiful.......

Of course I see this now, at the time....poison was pretty.....

what about you?

:D

Damn straight!

Actually, I am listening to her Jig of Life right now; love that cut. Love that woman, actually. My wife and I made a deal back when we became engaged; she can nail Tom Cruise if she gets the opportunity, and I can do Kate. She's since changed her mind about Mr. Cruise (Johnny Depp better watch his back) but I never stopped wanting Kate.

Um... is Joan Jett a has-been? :)

Edit: just saw this video of a KB interview from Hounds of Love era, about the Bulgarian trio (Trio Bulgarka). Cool for fans of Kate.

She used to scratch personal messages in some of them, but I checked and there were none. :(

Kate Bush: Good for a life-time.

You'll have to wrestle flvegan for Joan Jett. Good luck!

Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Coverdale, Brett Michaels, Stephen Pearcy, Kip Winger....and that's just off the top of my head. In the rock scene back then, so many were drop-dead gorgeous. Even among local bands: when I went to rock shows, I felt like a kid in a candy store looking at all the gorgeous men everywhere. I'm sure the same was true for those looking at the women. Today, I often wonder where all the beauty went. Sure, some of the celebs still look good, but what happened to the local guys? :-)

over my friend wanted to go to his hotel and see him walk in. Her husband went to where we were staying and she and I sat on the sidewalk all night outside his hotel. We never saw him. I was glad to accompany her. She had been a huge fan of his in her early twenties late teens.

Looking forward to hopefully a long, prosperous stay here. Thanks again for the welcome!

92. Yep. Even goes out door-knocking on occasion.
I usually ignore them when they come to visit, but if it was Prince selling the Watchtower magazines, I might actually open the door and talk to him. Wouldn't convert though.

78. 80's and Rocker don't mix
A terrible decade for music - just heavy metal mush; synthesized, soul-less dribble; and comical rap that thought it was music. Sorry, hate the 80's. Didn't mean to piss on the parade.

Couldn't have said it any better. Hated much of what passed for music in the 80's.

86. Samantha Fox
had 15 minutes of fame with "Naughty Girls Need Love, Too" and a few posters that made it up in some college dorm rooms & high school boys' bedrooms. At best, had a poor to mediocre singing voice, but she was cute and had big boobs.
