Cats who love to have their armpits scratched. Weird? |
|
All of mine suddenly started enjoying that a lot. They stretch their arms so I can reach their armpits, and the purring is seismic.
What's up with that?

4. No, they like it all over. They are exposing the belly, but they also |
|
like the head, around the ears, a full massage, that's what my cat likes, a complete rub down, like an athlete after a big league game. Even flexing out into the paws and claws. They also like a soft pull onto the ears, not a pull, just rubbing out on the ears. And gently clean out the ears, also. dc

7. Oh, mine get the full rubdown |
|
But the whole armpit thing is somewhat more recent.
A couple of them even let me rub their poosies without stabbing me with all the pointy ends. :P

Sometimes she likes it; other times, she may play-bite or otherwise send the message that it's not appreciated. Same with rubbing/scratching her belly. But there are times when she just wants to be adored, and her purring gets REALLY loud.
She likes it when I talk to her; she'll drop over on her side (I ask her to "gimme a kitty flop") and then roll around until she's almost at my feet wanting what I call "attenshuns." Like she doesn't want to be too obvious that she wants to be petted. She's funny, and a great little cat.

11. Weird as all get out. |

I don't know where you're from, but around here, we love having our armpits scratched by cats!
... Seriously. My cat can't get enough of burrowing into my armpit, gnawing and clawing.
