Sources say the song is titled "Wake Up America" and contains such banal lyrics as,
Wake up America
We're all in this together
It's our home, so let's take care of it
You know that you want to, you know that you've got to
Wake up America
Tomorrow becomes a new day
And everything you do matters
Yeah, everything you do matters in some way
I know that you don't wanna hear it
Especially coming from someone so young
But in the backseat, yeah they wanna hear it
(Yeah they wanna hear it)
So come on, turn it up
So come on, turn it up
So come on, turn it up"I mean, I just don't know what the hell she is trying to say here," noted music critic Platty McNarwhal was quoted as saying. "Is it supposed to be a patriotic hymn? An environmental call to action? An outreach to community service? A request to a mother for a better car stereo system in the family minivan? Shit, I guess I can appreciate the effort, but damn woman--just cash the check to daddy's name and call it a night."
Authorities were attempting to contain the damage caused by the lyrically devasting tune. Meanwhile, Youtube has been put on alert as to any rebroadcasts of the potentially fatal song, and as an antidote users of the video sharing website have been instructed to replace "Wake Up America" with a copy of the following song:
