1. I just saw that on College Humor.
What's worse is that my mind jumped first to the "Incorrect information received..." part, and immediately concluded "Go figure, shunting blame." Only reading it here and now did I catch the important bit.

That's horrible, yet so, so hilarious.

3. And if you take the Pie out of the Oven...
you get third degree burns unless you're using appropriate pie-handling gear.

6. Damn. Had a massive pun-post.
Apparently, I lost it while attempting to submit it. Oh well. You win this round, but next time, you won't be so lucky in avoiding the onslaught of puns. :P

5. Actually, that's not true.
I used to work in a pizzeria/rib joint. If you work around a 450 degree oven all night week after week, you build up a kind of immunity. I discovered that this temperature, while damn hot, is only enough to deal first to second degree burns, and if you're quick with the pan, you don't even burn your hand. Now, pie I would think cooks best around 400 degrees; I daresay I can snatch a pie out of the oven without mitts, relatively unscathed.

I'd PREFER to do it with oven mitts; after all, I'm not a complete idiot. :D I'm not a complete anything.

7. Point granted. In hindsight... Third degree burns?
That pie must have been cooking in a nuclear reactor for on-contact third degrees... Or at least in a schmelting plant.
