Any Lady Gaga fans here? Post your favorite Gaga tune.
She's disposable pop with questionable talent, but I do have to admit her songs are catchy.

What's your favorite Lady Gaga song?

Mine has to be "Pokerface":

2. She's the best thing to hit pop music since Madonna, and her talent isn't questionable.
I'm predicting a long career, so get used to her. She writes her own stuff, is liked by insiders (which helps in any industry), has more depth to her lyrics than old people get a lot of times, and sings better than 80% of the people on the charts these days. Plus she's got a talent for putting the whole package together--music, image, video, and personal mystique. Oh yeah, and she's unabashedly liberal and pro-equality.

So far mine's Bad Romance, but for the fun of it I'll post this instead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2aE-mnNZJ4&feature=related

11. not quite sure I qualify as a fan, but...
I find myself somewhat unwillingly liking her stuff.

She seems to be producing some quality pop music, and her Bad Romance video is quite interesting. The song's good, too.

she is very, very overrated. People act like she's doing something innovative but she's not.

"Plus she's got a talent for putting the whole package together--music, image, video, and personal mystique."

There's a lot of other people behind the scenes putting all that together. Producers, co-writers, directors, managers, publicists, choreographers, stylists, etc. It's not all her.

I agree about Bad Romance...her best song by far.

She is indeed a very overrated 2nd rate Hag Act

20. That was true of Elvis and the Beatles, too.
SHe has advice and producers and handlers, like everyone. But she writes her own music and lyrics, and comes up with the basic themes behind her outfits and her videos. Like Madonna, and Elvis, and every other major pop act, she's a control freak.

You'll see. In fifteen years you'll be telling everyone how you knew she was going to be great from the beginning, and everyone was trying to tell you otherwise. :)

If I had to choose who between him and Lady Ga-Ga has the most to offer talent and personal mystique-wise, I'd have to consult my Backstreet Boys Dictionary of Personal Mystique and Image For The Total And Genuine Talent Package, and then have to admit that it's too close to call between those two massive talents! ;)

38. Yeah, right.
Stephanie Germanotti is a college educated music major who has played the piano since she was five, writes her own songs, and has written hits for several other major celebrities. Bieber is a Karaoke star who was discovered on Youtube and who doesn't appeal to anyone over twelve. You can't tell the difference? Don't admit that too loudly.

17. I gots to ask:
Is this Lady Gaga thing one colossal, widespread inside joke that only I and maybe a handful of others aren't in on?

Seriously, I don't get the appeal. What's so pants-wetting spectacular about her? It just sounds like PG-13 Radio Disney to me.

Yyyyyyyyeah, sing along - "One of these things is not . . like the other . . "

2010 Radio Disney stuff, it doesn't exactly scream "Timeless", does it?

FWIW, my parents liked Led Zeppelin and David Bowie.

Ironically, he's one of Lady Gaga's role models, especially fashion-wise.
