Why do so-called "people" take cheap shots at Liza?!1

**********QUOTE********

Has Liza ever been a 'Single' lady?

When I first head that Liza Minnelli would be covering "Single Ladies" in "Sex and the City 2," I thought it was an inspired idea. In reality, it's so weird. Her distinct delivery doesn't mesh with the tempo at all -- it's kinda like when "Dancing with the Stars''" subpar singers tackle Celine, Mariah, Whitney or GaGa.

I will admit it's fun hearing the four-times married lady sing "if you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it" (they did) and hearing a 64-year-old utter, "tighter than my Dereon jeans." But that doesn't mean she should have.

Take a listen and decide for yourself.

COMMENTS:

Oh yes, "four times married". And every husband was a raving queen. Who are you kidding? She's out of her mind.

What's with the bashing Liza frenzy. What do the personal comments have to do with her performance? I had never heard the song and Beyonce's original, and the song does nothing for me. But Liza bounces with it, has fun with it, and the blaring instruments at the end signify it's a parody. What do her age and jeans have to do with her performance? Or that she's been married four times and to whomever? 'splain me that.

4. I saw Liza once in NYC...
At Studio 54 in 78 IIRC, with Diana Ross.

What's his name, the owner's, birthday party, Steve something.

Those were nutty days.

Anyway, Liza and Diana sang a song from the balcony thingy.

I didn't go there often, but some friends did.

Andy Warhol was a regular.

7. I think her father was gay too. I remember her saying she married her last husband
because he reminded her of her father the producer. I got the impression that is just who she wanted in her life. Then he got overly controlling or she started drinking again (or both) so they broke up. Who knows?
