1. A great Dylan
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyWiE1vNSxU

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Dylan Thomas

3. Dammit--Dylan ( with Tom Petty) doing Lonesome Town has been removed from youtube
and a great, soulful performance too; not goofing on it...you could tell Bob genuinely respected Rick Nelson and that beautiful song...

7. The Complete Dylan/Dead rehearsals...

This is gold. Gold.

Bob asked to Join the Dead. One member nixed it or he was in. Phil Lesh nixed it. they did tour together a few years ago (but did not share the stage together).

Wavy gravy is married to one of Bob's old school girlfriends.... And he wrote "The Times they Are A Changin" on wavy's typewriter..

8. Weird Al Yankovic's - Bob
Edited on Mon May-24-10 08:12 PM by Brother Buzz
I always enjoyed Weird Al's work to some degree, but this cover of Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues is simply brilliant. There is no doubt in my mind Dylan laughed like hell when he saw it. Weird Al even stuck a pretty good 'Allen Ginsberg' in the background.
