dog pound webcams- help me sell the idea in chicago

do you know a good pound or shelter webcam? do you have a story about a rescue that was facilitated by a webcam? do you have any comments, even, that would help me sell the idea here?
our pound is sort of hard to get to, especially if you don't have a car. the last time i was looking for a dog was 5 years ago, and at the time the volunteers put dogs on petfinder, but the staff did not follow what they were doing and therefore weren't able to answer any questions about the animals.
i think that nyc has one, and it has saved them a bundle. my alderman likes the idea, and has promised to take it up with the director.

it would be best to post in that thread, as it hangs around longer, but i would appreciate any kicks that you care to give this thread.
