Land of the L O S T
In all seriousness, I see parallels between Lost and the Sid and Marty Kroft kids show Land of the Lost. I swear to God it looked like Desmond was about to jump in the very hole where the Sleestak god dwelt. Fortunately, it proved much shallower. (Although I half-expected sleestak to pop out the whole time he or Jack were in that cave.

There is a disaster. check
They are stranded. check
They can't get back due to some magical limitations. check
There is weird, abandoned technology that can be used to change things. check
There is an advanced sleestak named Enik who is sometimes helpful, sometimes treacherous. Ben

I think there is too much in common for co-incidence.

  :nuke:

1. I hope you're talking the TV Series and NOT that Wil Ferrall movie crap
I was sick last Monday & Tuesday and I think I watched that on-demand (because well I did love the TV Series). The kids from the TV series were turned into adults (Played by Anna Friel who instead of being the daughter is now a love interest for Ferrall and Danny McBride as the tag-a-log asshole. I'm not sure how the movie ended but personally I was hoping this time the TRex would get them and eat them all for dinner.
