His triple bypass went well. They were able to find 3 veins to use that weren't too narrow, which they were unsure of at one point... he was removed from the ventilator a little earlier than usual too, which I see as a good sign. All the prayers, good vibes and well wishes are greatly appreciated... even my sister & step-monster have managed to reach some kind of common ground (though it wasn't always easy, according to my sis).
Thanks again... just didn't want anyone to worry. :hi:

He's still in ICU. His throat is sore & blood sugar high (but on insulin drip). The doc said that is to be expected. Peggy, I too hope his recovery is uneventful! :hi:
