Esfahan is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The history of that city goes back even longer. But Shah Abbas sure picked a nice spot for his capital.

according to Wiki the square is 160 meters wide by 560 meters long (an area of 89,600 m2). I don't know how many people fit in there. A lot I'd say :)
