The other day (Wed.) I posted about... |
|
one of my dog's visit to the vet. And that she'd gained 11lbs in 7 months. So the vet did blood work to check her thyroid. Last year she was 2.5--normal is 1.0 to 4.0--it came back at 1.1. So she's trending downward. My vet says based on his experience, she'll probably have to go on meds. Thank goodness, she's good at taking medication.
I'm relieved it's nothing more serious, cuz she was shedding A LOT, and she'd developed a small cloudy spot on her eye.
She'll just be my cuddly marshmallow dog. :-)

Oh, what a relief! And how good it is that she can take pills easily...
Yay for your cuddly marshmallow dog!

yes it was a relief. She's had a heck of a year. Last year she messed up her knee rippin and runnin around the backyard, then found out she's very allergic to bees..the hard way. So, I'm glad it's nothing too serious and can be managed very easily.
