Final Flash Forward
The last episode of Flash Forward tied up a few loose threads, left most of the old ones dangling, and introduced some new ones.

What kind of final episode was that?

1. One that was made before they knew the show would be cancelled, would be my guess.

2. It was cancelled?
Crap. Now we'll never know what happens during this recent flashforward.

3. We must have been the only ones watching.
I heard the ratings were really, really bad.

Too bad. It was a different kind of show, and at least it wasn't yet another crappy reality show.

5. I wonder why Flash Forward was unpopular.
It was a science fiction detective mystery suspense soap opera with good acting and plenty of death and destruction. What's not to like?

6. There was no bad singing, no celebrities 'dancing', no
bachelors screwing around.... in other words, it wasn't a really bad reality show.
It required some intelligence and the ability to pay attention to a story line.
Not much demand for that these days. :(

9. Maybe what it needed was teenagers having sex in the principal's office.
But I'm not quite sure how to work that into the story.

11. Some uneven writing and too long of a gap between the first and second half of the season.
Crap, why'd they have to go and make a cliff-hanger ending like that?

But the ending had me :wtf:

I guess we get to make up whatever ending we like!

8. Okay, in my version the bad guys win.
After killing dozens of masked assassins,

the heroic FBI agent makes it out of the building just before the bombs go off,

gets run over,

and is DOA at the hospital.

(Just kidding)

7. Yeah--shame about the cancellation
But I'm not surprised. I loved the premise, but they had WAAAYYYY too many storylines going at once, and they couldn't do them justice because of it. It was chaotic. But they were trying hard. I LOOOOOVED the Hail Mary casting of James Callis as Gabriel. I was really hoping he'd play a bigger role in the (now nonexistent) second season. Honestly, that man is a genius, and he brings up every show he joins.

"Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! I hate pickles!!! I don't like LETTUCE! I HATE ONIONS! I--I---I like tomatoes. Yeah." (Nom nom nom.)

Ah, RIP FlashForward. You showed promise. And then...you didn't.
