I'm going to kill my brother for buying my mom...
a phone that makes texting easy for her! I liked it better when she had no idea how to text and she didn't want to.

2. If my dad ever figures any of that out I'm joining the witness protection program.
He already drives me nuts just calling me every ten minutes.

4. Oh no it's worse than..
just texting. I moved two houses down from my parents. When I bought my house, my mom was sick, so I wanted to be close. It was one of those things that could go very well, or very badly. Well, luckily, it went very well for her. So not only does she call me four times a day, text me 25 times a day, she thinks she needs to see me every other day.

Don't get me wrong, I love my parents do death, (I moved down the street for goodness sakes) but for the love of God, first she retired, now she's texting. It wasn't as bad when she was working.

my parents went from not knowing how to work a vcr/dvd player to texting, sending pictures on the phone, email you name it. They still don't know how to work their dvd player.

3. My son probably rues the day I learned how to send him texts from email
Since I'm at my computer all the time, and he has his cell phone all the time. Sometimes I have to send him several texts in a row just to ask one question because of the character limit, and he complains that I send him too many texts. When if it was an email, it'd just be one message. Arrgh.

5. LOL...
it's the cycle of life/karma call it what you will. When we were kids, especially teenagers we drove our parents crazy, now it's their turn to drive us nuts.

Eventually, I'll get to drive my kids crazy. :-)
