Anyone else just fucking hate Will Ferrel?

He's a tumor on the comedy industry. All he seems to do is play one-dimensional characters with only enough staying power to be in a five minute SNL skit, so when you see them through a whole movie it's fucking irritating. I actually get the feeling even he knows his shit isn't funny, but plays the act cause, for some reason, people laugh.
I finally saw East Bound and Down the other night. The only NOT funny part in that show was Ferrel's character. I wish he'd fuck off and die.

he was co writer of Talladega Nights which was one of the best satires I've seen this decade.

and though his characters are dim witted, his writing of them is superb and extremely nuanced.

"Anchorman" is one of my favorite moves of all-time. Never do I watch it and not laugh my ass off.

I can't explain it, but Will Ferrel just makes me laugh.

Come on, he's an entertainer trying to make dumb movies for cheap laughs. Who can hate that? Hate is too powerful to waste like that. Laugh at him or walk away, but hate? Wishing him death? That's too much energy wasted.

hysterical. However, I've seen him in a couple of dramas and I thought he was excellent.

I think he's pretty funny in a great deal of movies (loved Anchorman and Old School). Didn't like Semi-Pro very much and that soccer movie? SKIPPED IT!

His characters are all the same to me. The only movie that did make me laugh was "Step-brothers" and it wasn't even very funny. I've heard him on radio shows, etc, and he seems like a nice guy... he just is not funny.

The worst part is that my SO is a big fan, so I see all of his movies.
